Even heat distribution is what I like best. Sturdy handles.
Bad Points
Mine flaked.
General Comments
My Scanpan Classic skillet is flaking around the curved part of the skillet near the base, as well as a piece in the center of the skillet. Skillet was purchased in 6/2004, so it made it about 4 yrs before the flaking started. I never use more than medium heat for cooking. Have not contacted Chef's about flaking problem. Have heard that flaking will not affect cooking ability or ability to remain stick-free. I'm confused though because their ad says the material is all the way through the skillet. If so, then what is flaking off?
