Very nice shaped livebox with pretty flashing lights.Decent response from head office when writing to them directly with complaints

General Comments

I was with Freeserve then Wanadoo from day one and the service was excellent apart from teething problems that come with new technology but help was always at hand and problems were resolved within the hour,then came Orange oh dear !! big mistake,i stayed with them first with broadband starter package.internet on and off sometimes for several hours sometime for several days.I phone Customer Care to be told everytime who they were and what they charge and phone calls may be recorded and the weather is nice there and what they had for lunch..blah..bla..blah. then when you finally get to understand what the operator is saying after he/she has repeated themselves several times because you didn't understand them the 1st/2nd time they tell you to ring following day as department is closed The following day you phone again,suddenly your an film extra in Groundhog Day having the same conversation with the same cost only to be told that their telephone lines are down and they are unable to connect ! Do'H my lines fine im talking to you so how can the phone lines be down?and that i should ring again the following day.So i write to head office instead and get a free month of broadband an apology and assurance it is now sorted and the initial problem finally resolved. Total cost 1st class stamp and a few weeks wait,anyway service goes fine for quite a few months decide to upgrade to home max package,everything running almost smoothly i decide to phone Orange for an answer to a query i had to be suddenly transported back in time to the year 2007 A.D to have the same conversation i have had before only to be told at 21.56 after hanging on the phone listening to music that the office closes at 22.00 hours and it was now shut and could i phone tomorrow ARGHHHH.Roll on August 09 so i can get out of this contract,never again will i be an Orange customer even the wife has switched to another mobile phone service recently because of their customer service department
