Good Points
This is a good tough workhorse of a gun. I own two Brownings, one Winchester and three Mossbergs two of which are 835's. This is the best all around gun and is affordable. I use it all the time.

Bad Points
The gun is barrel heavy.

General Comments
This is a good tough workhorse of a gun. I own two Brownings, one Winchester and three Mossbergs two of which are 835's. This is the best all around gun and is affordable. I use it all the time. Put on a sling and the weight is no longer an issue. I have also found the synthetic stock and 26 inch barrel to be better balanced than the 28 inch barrel with the wood stock. I don't notice that it kicks any harder than my other guns. These guns always work, I have never had a jam (unlike my Brownings).
