Good Points

Healthier way of deep fat frying
Less mess than conventional deep fat frying either manual or electric
Uses little or no oil
Dishwasher friendly


Bad Points

Longer cooking time
Potatoes can get broken up a bit leaving lots of 'crispies'
Durability is questionable


General Comments

I love the Tefal ActiFry product, however, I would question the materials used for the paddle as I am on paddle two which has also just broken so I will have to get it reploaced. The first break was the arm itself and the latest break is one of the little clips that keeps it fitted securely into the pan. I have also found that the non stick on the pan is now coming off so will probably have to replace that too. The machine is just over a year old and not used to excess so I am disappointed with the faults.
I would say in Tefal's defense that the first paddle was replaced within a day free of charge.
