General Comments

I can only echo what other reviewers have said, It fell over all the time usually cracking me one on the bonce and bringing out some inappropriate language - then the wheels fell off. The comedy build quality meant the covers (especially the front cover) fell off more often than the doors on a clowns car. It sucked well at first, but I think if you had an average three bedroom house you'd need to empty it 2 or 3 times to vacuum the whole house, and the filters would definitely need cleaning by then. I find they take forever to dry too. Chasing pet hairs round my hard floors is a great new exercise bought to me by this marvel of modern design. It was far easier to sweep my hard surfaces than use this machine on them. The mechanism to lock it upright was poor and sounded like some one with arthritis cracking their knuckles, I'm surprised its lasted this well. Yesterday it made an odd noise and smell and smoke billowed out and my first thought was "thank god I've got an excuse to get rid of this junk".
I think that hoover tried to make it too cheap and too light (it was the lightness that attracted us to it) and this is the result.
