General Comments
I got this phone the other day, because i have always loved the 6300, but felt it lacked a little something. And it appears that something is wifi! So the 6301 it was!
Considering the audience that the 6300/6300i.6301 is aimed it, feels like a higher end phone (ie towards the premium handsets like the 8800) plus it comes with a matching charging dock. So in terms of quality, this is very much a poor man 8xxx series phone! very impressed with the feel of it!
All the rest of what has in the box you'd find in which any other handset, headphones etc. And same applies with the features, its the same easy to use s40 platform which the majority of non-smartphone nokias have.
I dont know whether its just my handset, but the camera is shocking. The 2mp had a green tinge at the top and the bottom of the screen, moreso the bottom. This is weird considering the 2mp camera of the 8800 sirocco is better, and the 7500 2mp even better. Work that one out?! But anyway, I cant really be bothered to send it back and find out, as i have a 8mp camera for normal use, so i hardly take camera phone pictures anyways.
But other than the, a great handset, with the useful addition of wifi for VOIP (internet calls, like skype) and inernet connections.
