Good Points

Slim, decent 2mp camera, unique (as if a premium handset, but not like the price tag of the 8800 and likes), easy to use and personalise, good battery life.


Bad Points

Joystick can get some getting used to.
Too desirable? mine got stolen...


General Comments

I ordered one of these off Orange's Reconditioned phone site, as it was only £59 i thought, why not!

So it arrived just how it said, basically with just the phone, battery and charger because its a refurb. I'm not too sure what comes in the box normal in terms of extras, but would no doubt have a software CD, data cable and headphones at least.

The unique shape of the keys looks as though they'd take some getting used to, but they're still in the right place, so its absolutely fine. Its the joystick that takes some getting used to! But once you've sussed its fine. Thought a D-pad (directional pad) would have been preferred.

Being in the fashion phone range, thing allows you to have interesting themes and exchangable covers. Even if you wanted to keep it black, there are different coloured bands (eg red, blue and turquoise) to go round the rim of the phone.

The camera is only 2megapixels, and if very good considering. Especially compared to the camera of my 6301 which is also 2mp. Considering they're the same manufacturer i dont know why there is a difference!

The battery life is great, I can get about 5days usage out of it. Maybe more, but hardly ever less.

Its a bit of a finger print magnet, but not as much as my 8800 sirocco, but it feels good and feels solid. I'm surprised this isn't more of a premium handset, although is is just one series below the 8xxx series.

All round great handset, well worth the money!

...Unfortunately my handset got stolen on a night out, but luckily this wasn't my primary handset. It must had been something to be desired compared to my previous phones such as a 6230!
