General Comments
I can honestly say the Natwest Advantage Gold Bank Account is an excellent account i have save money time and time again, especially with my holidays, we go away twice a year and each time i always look for flights online to get the best possible price as i travel from cardiff we are quite limited on our airlines, however everytime i get my quote online i then phone advantage gold and they have always beaten my price by 10% upgraded my package (i.e extra luggage allowance, food and seats together) and best of all they don't charge extra for using a credit card so my holiday is always protected. the travel insurance also protects the holiday from the booking date so i haven't got to go round finding travel insurance, and pay for it.
I had to make a claim three times on my travel insurances, once for delayed flights, once for theft on holiday and the third time my pushchair was lost on flight, each time they have sorted it out swiftly and i have had my monies within 2 weeks of making the claim. It offers me great peace of mind knowing i am not dealing with a cowboy company when it comes to my travel insurance.
I have also recently used the discount on gigs and phoned up for 4 take that tickets, they got back to me with in 1/2 an hour and my savings worked out i got 1 ticket free.
i also saved £400 on my mortgage fees when remortgaging and the mortgage was complete within 3 and a half weeks, i saved 1.5% on my rate, and i have also saved £5 a month on my house insurance.
I have to say i was very dubious when i took it out 3 years ago when the price went up last year i went in and spoke to an adviser who sat down with me went on the website and set me up with all my protection ie my iphone costs me £35 a month to insure and i've got that free! she showed me exactly how to make the most of this account and if it wasn't for her i would have cancelled it.
