Good Points

No problems at all with the training instructor. He was a great fella, easy going, gave me confidence & overall was very helpful in the teaching process.


General Comments

Sterling gave me the impression that they were the No 1 school for truckers. I was very disappointed with the overall result. Firstly the truck I was on had problems with it that never seemed to be fixed properly. Also I don;t remember Sterling telling me that this CPC had to be taken before you even were allowed to get onto a class 1. I paid for the king of the road package deal. I passed my class 2 but then was sent a thick book of about 400 pages to read & study about CPC. They never told me that part when I rung & booked the special deal. Although I got my class 2 out of them I lost the opportunity to do the class 1 when the deadline expired. I felt they didnt give me anywhere near the amount of time to read & study for the CPC tests.
My only good comment is about the instructor. He was a very good teacher. The bad points outweigh the good ones. I would not recommend sterling to anyone. Im now going to do my class one with another company & have found out that others can do it cheaper than sterling.
