The Brita Acclario Water Filter Cordless Jug is a good concept. Filtering and boiling very efficiently. Only had it a little over a year and only use it on average twice a day. It was a very bad pourer right from the begining but now seems to be leaking from the base. Whenever I lift the kettle up, always a large puddle on the mains base and also the worktop. I was tempted to replace the kettle as I thought first one was maybe just bad luck. Luckily after reading the other reviews it seems it maybe a design fault.
