I made a reservation 10 weeks before my trip, confirmed 6 weeks before, 4 weeks before, 2 weeks before, 7 days before and 2 days before the scheduled pickup.
After all my efforts to ensure a car for my family Christmas trip, HERTZ told me the pick up day "sorry we don't have any cars for you" and the only option they gave me was to go to the competition and look for a car on December 26th. So after more than 10 weeks of my CONFIRMED reservation they can not confirm anything, so I have 10 family members in my house more than 1000 miles to drive without a car and the worst part, there are no options given by HERTZ besides going to the competition. The main office response: We back up 100% our local office offer.
No car, no compensation, no options, no customer service.
Never again will rent with Hertz.
