Good Points

Low fees it cosgt $10 for DD it cost $ 6 at remit to india


Bad Points

Bad exchange rate, never know when your money will arrive, extremely slow, bad customer service.


General Comments

I sent money to India from Australia on 6th December and I am still waiting for the DD to arrive to my family in India. Its been exactly 1 month now and I dont know whether my money will ever arrive. If they don't deliver the money within the next 1 week I am going to complain to fairtrading and probably have their bank account in Australia seized to recover my money. I do NOT trust them at all. I will never use them again, paying $10 to my bank is FAR better than using remit2India.

    I also have to add that the exchange rate is the worst in the world. The quoted Exchange rate on their website is 33.70 for 1 AU $. But they gave me only rs 30.70. I will never use this service again. ICICI Money2India is a much better service. I used Money2India and they credited the money to Indian bank account within 3 days! Now thats FAST compared to 1 month waiting with remit2India
