Bad Points

Beware the payment holiday option at commencement - it is NOT an interest holiday - do the sums (use an online APR calculator). I was not offered the option to decline this, but was told the APR was 7.7% which it wasn't if the extra interest is included.


General Comments

Freephone telephone service was excellent, with instant decision and probably quicker than doing it online. They will push their Payment Protection Insurance, but that is to be expected. Their recorded intro does say other providers are available', so they are not breaking the law.
Rate is competitive for AA members. Quoted £55 for courier delivery of cheque. I have not accepted the loan yet.
