Good Points

Fast to shoot with a big ten round mag, very easy to field strip for cleaning, every body has parts for them, and there easy to get too, very good gun,

Bad Points

Gets very dirty very fast if you fit a sound mod to them, they only like hv, ammo sub's will jam them up after about 30/50 rounds noisy breach block, they need tuning to fire sub's,(easy to do) canot put cleaning rod in from breach end, (drill hole in end of gun to fit rod brush) then clean from the breach end only!

General Comments

Dam good rifles, but to fire sub's chop off two coiles from the return spring, and also to keep it quiet fit a rubber coverd stop pin at rear of breach block, cuts recoil noise by 70% and felt recoil by40% app! rifle is fast to fire 3 rounds a second is easy! there are 10/25/50/and 100 round mags for the ruger 10/22 lr
So you can start your own war on the bunies if you like? but not to good at long ranges ruger say 3.5 inches at 50 mtrs mine will do much better that that ie:1.5 inches easy! iv shot bunnies at 180mtrs and they just droped dead! with hp eley sub's (lucky shot!) and two head shots on a fox at 80 mtrs with miny mags both droped dead! (easy shot!) but for long range shots use a bolt accition, slow, but pin point hit's! my ruger 10-22 lr will eat any ammo that fits in it! (now its been tuned) one word of advice
KEEP IT CLEAN and OILED and it wont let you down, there dam good rifles that hold there prices well, even old one's!!!!!
