Useful card.


General Comments

Been with HSBC for years, great bank, but their gold credit card thing is an anomaly as every other card I have with different banks (5 in all) lets you view historical data for 6 months - but not the HSBC one.
There is no previous history in the online banking - all you can see is the last statement. I shredded my paper statements but then an issue came up, I went to check online and poof - I can only see the last month's transactions, no historical data at all. Support said this is not possible - so they are basically saying I cannot check back on my own spending if I make the mistake of following their advice about security and shredding statements.
