General Comments

We called Iberia for advice as I am 5 months pregnant and we were also taking our 11 month old son on our trip to Brazil for his christening. We were told to go early to the airport to book our seats as it could not be done on the Internet or over the phone. On the way to and from Brazil we followed their advice; sadly they were incorrect on both occasions. Firstly they assured us that we would be given a seat with extra leg room etc this did not happen, we were seated apart and I had to stand for 8 hrs of the flight, the person in front lowered their seat which meant it rested on my pregnant stomach, my husband had hold of our child and we were unable to move, some of the staff were very unhelpful during the 4th hour of my standing they asked if I would sit down as the people behind me could not see the film! I turned to apologise and found that the people behind me were asleep? I was driven to tears, and they did not give any help at all. They were most helpful to another family who also had to sit apart, making sure they moved other passengers to accommodate them. I think I was the only pregnant mother on the flight and some of the staff were extremely unhelpful. The journey back was even worse, 3 planes, no suitable seating, delays and changes to our flights charging us for food even though they delayed us by canceling our flight, a 45 minute run through an airport and they lost all our luggage.
