Budget Car Insurance's initial premium quotations are competitive but their renewal quotations are not. Like so many insurance companies, their automatic renewal statements are written poorly and its an 'opt out of' service which seems extremely difficult to opt out of and to get out of once you're in it. Their customer service is poor and their speed in getting cancellation documentation out is by pigeon mail. The renewal quotations I received are astronomical (aren't most of them I guess) but due to their poor renewal system it caught me out and is extremely expensive.

I would not recommend them.
