Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Length of ownership6 months
- Reliability

- Year Manufactured1998
- Build quality

Comfy bike with enough torque to pull out tree stumps.
No waiting for the revs to build up but runs out of puff early in the rev-range (all over by 8000rpm).
Still pulls 200kph in 4th gear.
Bad Points
Heavy
Low pegs are comfy but touch down early.
General Comments
The Suzuki Bandit is a good package. Mild mannered when putting around and if you twist the throttle there is a surge of power from as low as 4000rpm.
The bandit is in its element on the road. Not needing to chop and change gears (unless you want to) in the slower twisty sections i just leave it in third and that will pull!
My friends TL1000r can still keep up, but its more of a sport bike and with all the simple performance mods available the Bandit is my pick.

Insurance
So, if a driver with the $5,000 minimum totals out your $15,000 bike, his insurance company will pay you only $5,000. How will you get the other $10,000?
