Efficient, auto sensor makes drying more economical, quiet, fast, buzzer to let you know when it has finished, different programmes for iron dry, cupboard dry etc.

None. The next model up gives time remaining but do you really sit and watch it decrease? The price increase was not worth it. Buzzer is fine so you can get on with the next load!

I have a large family and use my Miele T294C continuously. It is great and after having cheaper brands that packed up every couple of months this is a sheer delight, as is my Miele base model washing machine. I prefer this to the more modern looking model which had a plastic front that jutted out (and would collect more dust, I thought). Worth spending the extra over cheaper brands as it will last.
