Good Points

Ease of use. Money Vouchers back to spend, well dated.


General Comments

Extra points vouchers confusing and short dated.
M & S Claimed they didn't receive the cheque in the post paying the full outstanding payment on my account which I pay without fail every month by return of post. (My post is taken into the post office) therefore they charged me an extra £28 on my statement; When I queried this they were not very helpful at all and this caused me a lot of stress and time trying to get the charges dropped, however they flatly refused. They would not even put me through to another department as 'their' decision would be the same!
After three long phone calls including them calling me claiming I had purchased a further item for over £1,500 (this was a mistake) they still refused to waiver the late payment fee.
I did state that I would settle my acount, deducting the £28 and go back to my former credit card.
Two weeks later I received a letter stating they had waivered the fee, on this occasion!
I now pay by telephone.
