General Comments

I have just bought an Air Arms pro-sport in .177 and i must say that i am bitterly disappointed. I Have put it over a chrono & the best result i can acheive is 10.2ft/lb using airarms 4.51 field pellets, I returned the gun to the dealer & told them of the results & they were very doubtful that my findings were correct, However i left the gun with them, and they rang me the very next day to say it was being returned to air arms, the dealer had also checked the gun over their own chrono (F1) and they confirmed that it barely producing 10ft/lb, they informed me that most of the shots were about 9.6ftlb. I also own a tx200hc & out of the box this was putting out shots to the tune of 11.8 ft/lb as an average.
My advice is simple......BUY A TX200.

I happen to have both TX 200 and a Prosport and the internals are the same. The differences are in the cocking mechanism.
It sounds like there was a problem somewhere in the workings of the action but the fault could have occured on either model and will be easily repaired.
