Bad Points

There aren't many, it is a lot better quality than the first book and therefore I cannot think of any right now.

General Comments

The second book of the Twilight series is more passionate and more ferocious than before, we learn much more about the characters and the tension behind everything is felt greatly. The prose is so exquisite and real that we can feel it happening to us, as in the first book the second captures us until we finish it, unable to put it down. The story in the second prose is a lot more raw as we see relationships evolving and getting stronger as characters cling on to each other for protection. The reactions of the characters are also a lot more believable and a lot more focused, I believe Stephanie Meyer has done a fantastic job with this book.
This second book revolves around relationships and how easy you can break or they can break while also be made. It tells the story of how The Cullens move away to protect the humans, but in this not only destroys the relationship of Bella and Edward but makes the new connection of Bella and Jacob. I suppose it's a little life lesson that every cloud has a silver lining. Edward is all but forgotten as Bella enters dangerous activities to try and revive his voice. Out of the blue Alice (Edwards 'sister') shows up and explains what she had saw and how things might turn out if her and Bella didn't come up with some sort of plan. In the end all is well but several relationships are broken again as old ones are made new.
If you enjoyed Twilight you will adore New Moon as it explores new material in the sense of the real world.
