Bad Points

The reason I did not give it a ten was because although I understand the book probably had to be on edge at all time I found it a little unbelievable how Isabella simply believed in everything. I thought that the author could have maybe given a little more time into the perspective of Bella as she went through the steps in believing. But then again this could have been another character trait to that I am not sure.

General Comments

The quality of writing by Stephanie Meyer is quite frankly amazing, she has a rare talent of getting you into the story completely, for a while I had trouble in believing what was real and what was not (sounds a little sad but true). I could not put the books down (yes all of the series) and people may have got annoyed with me. I truly did not sleep and I just could not rest not knowing what was going to happen. The characterization is amazing with no flaws, and the language within the characters is most certainly good too, it adds to the profile of the characters we build in our heads.
A truly amazing book in my eyes filled with passionate romance (but it's not 'soppy') and action. This work of fiction/fantasy is a must for all readers who enjoy a good character story to draw you in. The Times says (and I quote off the back cover) "Her story, recounted in hypnotic, dreamy prose, encapsulates perfectly the teenage feeling of tension and alienation" and that does say it all really. It is a perfect teenage book combined with the romantic tension and hatred and lets the reader slip away and be a part of it. In truth it sort of revolves around normal teenage life with the senses and happenings twisted to make them a level above normal life. A must for any teenager who is sophisticated or other wise, more for late teenagers really but I believe it is suited to most peoples 'book tastes' as it includes a lot of elements of a good book.
