This software caused system crashes, particularly when backing up material on to inserted media, usually when the media is extraced. (The Microsoft analysis that kicks in on a system crash blames the Aluria software.) The crashes continue even after the software is uninstalled, presumably due to leftover elements that are not removed. The good news is that the crashes are just a nuisance, they don't seem to do any permanent damage.
