Good Points
Fantastic value! Lots of gun for a relatively low price :)
Very intuitive placement of the safety and forearm release lever.
Bad Points
The finish of internal components is rough compared to the Remington 870, working the action takes slightly more effort/concentration
General Comments
Despite not being as nicely finished/fitted as the Remington 870, the Mossberg 500 is nevertheless the equal in terms of reliability, perhaps superior when it's ergonomics are factored into a comparison.
