i went to get a refund today from bank for a £70 coat i bought in the sale as my partner had bought me one as a surprise the same day and i like his better. i don't usually shop in the store as i cant afford clothes from there and it isn't usually my type of clothes that i wear so i asked for a cash refund they told me that they will not give me one and i can only have a store card as it was a sale item what use is this to me if i don't like anything in the store they said its there policy and they don't give cash but at not one point did they tell me this when i bought the item i am extremely annoyed i have a £70 coat i am not going to wear and there is nothing i can do they gave me numbers to ring if i don't agree but everyone just seems to give me more numbers on the phone and i feel i am going round and round in circles i wish i had never stepped foot in this store its the worse customer service i have ever received
