Broadband? I don't think so! Far too slow for me...
General Comments
I bought the Pay-as-you-go package, just to try it out, after previously experiencing the truly pathetic 'Three' Mobile Broadband.
The dongle came at a very cheap £29.99, compared to all the £49.99 that you pay for all the other networks & £15.99 for 3GB data usage isn't unreasonable.
The dongle software installed easy enough, but that's where the good points end. Apparently, it should be about 1.8 MB per-second, but even on excellent coverage, its 225kb per-second. It's just too slow for me, Im in London, where there is near perfect coverage & large number of masts nearby.
After looking at a consumer choice website & reading many other reviews, it 'appears' that Vodafone has the best average speed.
Don't get me wrong, for simple browsing, it's fine, but If you want o2 Mobile Broadband to replace your landline or cable broadband, I do not recommend it.
