Good Points

An incredible opening chapter, Intense first person narrative, Intense character development easily slips into farcical later chapters

Bad Points

Can be hard to get into, Rather simple plot (story fueled by the characters development not indepth story), Half Hearted sub plot

General Comments

The story I found hooked me with the opening. A marvelously crafted piece of english that draws you in almost becoming annoying with Joes constant digressions however this all helps to build the tension. Joes slip into obsession is something that should not be missed. However the loosely woven in sub plot based around mrs logan seems to have not had as much effort put in; with it not being solved until after the logical conclusion of the book a sort of aside never really an integral part
