Went to Comet to buy a new washer/dryer. Had found the one that we wanted on the internet for £395 with a different company. Went to comet to see one in the flesh, they wanted £500. Mentioned that I could get it for over £100 less from a different company, they said that they could only price match their own internet site, not others. Further investigation on the internet gives you Boots, Sainsburys, Dixons and john Lewis, aswell as some lesser known companies all beating their price. Sales staff I dealt with seemed unhelpful. Won't waste my time with them again.

    Wouldn't but another thing from the rubbish company. I brought a washing machine from them in the sale to be delivered a month later. Only when I arranged for delivery they told me they were no longer in stock, even though I paid cash for it the previous month! The costomer services was disgraceful, I brought in the sale to get a good deal and then because the sale had finshed when "I" discovered the one I'd brought wasn't avavaible I then had to pay full price for another and add money. I also brought a tumble dryer from them which is useless and they won't exchange for refund us for this. I am not one to moan usually but I am utterley disgusted with the company and the lack of customer care. I can 100% say that I'll never but another thing from them.
