I have spent months emailing(as requested) and calling LAN Airlines in hope of receiving a refund of credits or cash value without luck. I get difference responses every time from the customer service reps.

I was told earlier this summer that I could buy back my credits for $300, and given a reference number. Later that day I called back to book the trip and was told that I would not be able to.

I sent several emails(with automated responses received), however I've received no actual response from a human.

Today 12/24/08 I tried again. Was given 3 separate phone numbers and no help. 2 of the phone numbers given apparently went to dead end lines..


Normally I wouldn't make such a big deal, but the price of these tickets comes out to $1,600.

As of today, I feel I have still received no help. Please be careful if booking with this airline.
