our party of 14 thought the presentation of the tables and xmas crackers looked good and we thought we were in for a wonderful evening but!

we had booked our meals a week in advance so they knew what we wanted ....big mistake plates cold most of the fish seemed reheated the gilled soles were burnt all round the edges and were dry. the place was cold and we had to put our coats on to eat our meal. there were no lights in the only toilet just a candle to see with we complained about the meal and were told it was because they were busy...I wonder how long for if this is the service they are giving?

we have been here before and the meals and service were excellent, we cannot believe this place appears to have gone downhill in such a short time, we felt this ruined our celebration evening.
