We were passing this new store in East Kilbride and as we needed dog food we though we wouid give it a try. We normally feed our dogs Iams ( in store the 15kg bags were not priced) but there was a big range of foods so we thought we would try another brand. While we were weighing up the various options one of the three staff who had been chatting together at the tills came over and asked if she could help. I explained what our requirements were, expecting the young lady to point us in the right direction, however to my astonishment she said, just to let you know "we are closing" and walked away, we did not realise the time and it was approaching 6pm, we were then left in limbo as what to choose, as we needed the dog food we took a couple of 15Kg bags. As we we were leaving the unhelpful young lady offered to open the door for my wife, who walks with a stick, this offer did increase our opinion of this young lady until we realised the door was locked and she only unlocked it, and left my wife to open it while I pushed the trolley out to the car park.
I will not return to this store, nor will the many many people I will tell my story to. Customer service at this Acorn Store seems to be an unknown.
