This bike makes you smile, it's a real experience and great fun. Fast, agile with excellent, stable handling and plenty of mid range oomph. I have owned mine for 5 years and could not bring myself to change it. It's such a great all-rounder. Looks the business and nothing like that triple howl when you crack the taps open! Mine has been reliable and service/maintenance costs are reasonable as is fuel consumption. I get approx 48 mpg on average which I think pretty good.
Bad Points
There are only two slight negatives but these apply more or less to all fuel injected sports bikes. 1. Fuelling can be a bit rough at small throttle openings. 2. Comfort: low bars mean weight on the wrists around town (but one does get aclimatised to this) seat is a bit hard after an hour or so in the saddle.
General Comments
These bikes have great character and a special allure all their own. People stop to chat in the street and heads turn. I love riding mine (its a 2002 DSSA model which I particularly wanted for the weight saving and better chassis over the SSSA versions) even in the wet. The handling is excellent, always very competent, the sort of bike that smooths away bad moments. This is always reassuring because on the street, these are as quick as anything you'll meet. Mid range acceleration is stonking and you'll want to use it often just to hear that howl......Highly recommended!

Insurance
So, if a driver with the $5,000 minimum totals out your $15,000 bike, his insurance company will pay you only $5,000. How will you get the other $10,000?
