General Comments

We were the victim of another driver reversing into out car in a local shops car park. Reporting the claim was straight forward, but from then on it was downhill all the way.

Admiral Car Insurance deam the claim to be a "non Fault" claim and refer us to Albany Assistance - which again required going through all the details of the accident. Then they called us back to advise us that the local garage for the repair estimate would be in touch.... NOTHING., We called the garage and booked in the car for estimates

In the mean time Albany Assistance send us a Credit Agreement to complete and return to them - now we are fully comp insured with admiral so why are we being asked to fill in this credit agreement ? The agreement is supposed to cover us in the event they cannot claim their costs back from the thrid party - which means we will end up paying for our own repairs... and the hire car costs... and even interest !!!!

I thought fully comp covered you for all of these, but seemingly not - so we either sign and hope.. or cancel Albany Assistance and go back to Admiral either way we have to pay the excess in advance and then hope the third party admits liability.

Admiral are rubbish... We had previous problems with Elephant who ballsed up a claim three years ago without any real effort...
