Guest's Review of Oliver

Overall Rating
- Value for money

- LocationTheatre Royal, Drury Lane
The choreography, orchestration and musical direction, all cast - but especially Gwion, Jodi and the Artful Dodger. The set is magnificent and the costumes wonderful with good props.
Bad Points
Bill Sykes needs to be three dimensional. The final chase on the roof tops needs more tension.
General Comments
Oliver is an excellent show with a couple of songs that were new to me - "Your Funeral" was very funny. I've read other reviews complementing Rowan Atkinson and I think you need to be much closer to the stage to get his wonderful shtick. No opera glasses on my row in the circle!
