Bad Points

Acer software all pretty poor I feel in my experience.
Wireless connection drops.
Pre partitioned hard drive is very annoying, but Ntfs is good for large files.
No bluetooth, despite having a button for enabling/disabling it.
Not particularly good battery life, but could be a factor of age, just remember to bring the ac adaptor with you.
Random error with acer esettings at startup, happens every time, have used restore disk, didn't fix doesn't affect anything other than some of the crappy acer software.


General Comments

Good Specs for Price, Good Integrated Graphics. Nice screen in price bracket.
Easy to swap hard drive out.
Good size keyboard.
Good power management software.
Dual layer dvd writer a bonus at the time.
Good value laptop, with decent specs for the price.
Plays games better than some more recent laptops in the price range.
Not the most powerful laptop, but can stutter its way through more complex tasks.
Ram upgrade to 2gb will improve performance I think.
