angelcake1974's Review of Marks and Spencer Pet Insurance
16th Dec 2008
Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Customer service

- Have you made a claim?Yes
Easy claims system - no hassle or fuss and quick repayment of costs
Bad Points
The change in their underwriter - meaning excess has now jumoped to £70 per claim with no option to reduce this for existing customers
General Comments
I too am disappointed in the way M&S have simply changed the excess levels for existing customers. They have moved from AXA to Royal Sun Alliance as their underwriters. However, for those of you out there who want the same type of cover to what you're used to - simply go directly to AXA and their dog insurance mirrors the original M&S cover - the excess is £50 (sorry still no option to remove all excesses), so at least you are getting a better deal excess wise than M&S are now offering!!!!
