Great sound for the price, satisfying sound on most any measure except raw power, attractive looking.

General Comments
I bought these speakers on Saturday, and I went through my collection of mp3s literally the entire night, enjoying the superb sound they are pumping out. I paid a mere 60 bucks online with Austin Computers of Joondalup, Western Australia, and I am one very satisfied customer of both Austin and Logitech. As far as I'm concerned, if you spent two hundred dollars on a set of PC speakers, you'd be hard done by to justify the extra $140 in terms of sound quality. I don't have the room for more pieces than 2.1, but I've hardly compromised anything in terms of enjoyment, in my opinion.
They are ideal for computer speakers, giving more than powerful enough acoustics for sitting at the keyboard, or anywhere in the room. I rarely put them up more than a quarter of their capacity. The depth of the sound is nice, and if your mp3 is well encoded, distortion is not a problem.
If you want great sound for a mere song, don't need to hear them outdoors, buy this 3 piece set " you won't be sorry.
