Good Points

Compact size, light weight, batteries last a long time, camera mount for tripod on bottom, runs on one 9v battery, comes with built in IR illuminator and has an attachment point for an additional illuminator

Bad Points

IR illuminator is partially blocked by objective lense, not very clear view, very unclear under 3 foot, IR illuminator is visible to target as a red light giving away your position and doesn't shine very far maybe 30 feet. Aoesn't see as well as other nv I have used..

General Comments

Not too bad for the price. The tripod mount allows you to jerry rig this unit into a hands free head mount - using a helmet with an "L" bracket attached over one eye and a short bolt through bracket to hold the unit in position. (the poormans nvg monocular). It is smaller than other units I have used and lighter weight, but not as clear focus either. Overall not bad for the price of around $100.
