Good product tests.

Too much concentration on sports bikes and not enough on "Normal" bikes that most people ride. Often slate previously lauded bikes when compared to newer rivals. Newer bikes are invariably better than older machines but not everybody can afford the latest and greatest.

RiDE is not a bad magazine. It's generally better than Bike magazine. The equipment tests are first class although they can be a bit picky at times with relatively minor faults. If I had to choose between the two, (I subscribe to both), I wold currently pick Ride as my first choice.
