Good Points

Great interior love the dash layout, mines a great return but then I do my own serving and just have a passion for good bargains. The 75 is great buy and for what you get in terms of luxury you cannot complain, its not as if you are living in the stone age anymore. When I looked at Mondeo/Vectra /Audi/BMW/Astra/Ford I just did not want a dark grey boring cold looking dashboard, I wanted a interior that was warm and pleasing to the eye and lively colours not cheap spayed silver plastic everywhere like most cars these days and its just not what I want. If the cabin is not a good place to be then the car is not worth buying. The rover is great on the inside and I love it to bits I have had no problems with it.


Bad Points

Some parts can be expensive but hey so can the Rolls Royce the dear old Queen drives, but if you love what you have you will be prepared to spend on it no matter what dorky comments you get from other humans. A new clutch is £580 best I could get at the time but it was well worth it, if you are good on your thinking you get the spares over time so you already have then to hand, it makes sense over time. No I ' m not saying buy every part but get the bits that go wrong more commonly ie. read reviews and get to know the car this way it will hurt your pocket as much when it happens, preparing for future events is a good step, and if you can do it your self then you get my vote any day sir/madams.


General Comments

Well I ' m very happy with the Rover 75, if you are the person who wants to buy a car based on the fact you want to keep up with jonses or the roberts at number 10. Then this not for you, but if you consider good intelligence on great value and good prices for this car then its a must buy bargain for a middle of the road build quality motor with jag looks its fantastic. Don ' t knock it until you have tried it, have good old nosey round and you will see what I mean the 75 is a great place to be for the money.
