Good Points
Sturdy Joystick, thrust control with trim adjuster on thrust unit
more buttons than you can shake a stick at
Bad Points
Suction feet could be made better as mine slip everywhere, joystick also feels slightly cumbersome
General Comments
On delivery of my new joystick, the speedlink black widow which i paid £20 for on e-bay, i opened the cardboard box in which everything was nicely packaged in plastic bags, the whole unit was held in the box using plastic units so as not to damage the product in transit... On setting everything up including installing the drivers from the cd provided i got about setting the joystick up in IL2:1946 / BF2: project Reality and MicroSoft Flight simulator X, all of which was easily done and worked well in-game once i had tweaked with the sensitivity a bit on each game.
The unit is plugged into the pc via a USB cable
The unit itself consists of:
Joystick with 4 button
Thrust controller with trim aduster fitted on it
4 buttons on base of unit
4 Suction feet
Driver CD
The feel of the unit is good and the joystick and throttle unit have a nice tough feel to them so you wont lose grip when your in the air.
Overall for the price this is a very good joystick and would recommend to anyone who doesnt want to pay over £50 for a joystick and thrust control combination...
