Good Points

dries clothes quick, and is simple to use.


Bad Points

reliability issues on the flimsy bearing and spindle.


General Comments

I have had my is70c for just two years. It has had moderate use serving a family of four. Last week it tripped the circuit breakers so i decided to investigate the problem. after a couple of hours tinkering i failed to find the problem, but i did find that the thrust bearing at the rear had worn completely through and had just started to grind the spindle. This has allowed the drum to drop slightly towards the rear, this caused noise and poor drying performance due to heat escaping through a gap between the drum opening and the felt bearing/seal at the front. I was able to purchase a replacement bearing for the one at the rear from Minster electronics for just £6 which was easy to fit and has rectified the drum sealing problem and the noise, but i am still in the dark as to why it is tripping my circuits.
