Good Points

No queue on their support lines.


Bad Points

Too expensive. Bandwidth on packages is too limited. Support are slightly patronising. They made migrating away difficult.


General Comments

Switched away from Fast to O2 as it meant a saving of nearly £20 per month. I was asked to email them a list of personal details and account info which I did (ommiting my router password as I had forgotton it). They emailed me back asking for the password so I sent them the number along with a comment saying "you don't make this easy do you?".

Now normally, I would expect it to be left at that, but instead I got an email (from what seems to be the only support guy there) telling me that if someone had got access to my email they could have been trying to close my broadband account without my knowledge.

He would have a point if it weren't for the fact that all my account details were emailed to me when I signed up, so this was no security measure at all. Just another hoop for me to jump through because I was a canceller.

Also, took out an 0845 dial up connection with Fast (where they pay you for call you make). There were supposed to be payments made to me on a monthly basis but when I enquired about it 3 months later they said they had been emailing me to ask for an invoice - This simply wasn't true.
