Good Points

Our rep could not have been better, both as a learned egyptologist and as a great wag.


Bad Points

You are cossated on the boat and the hassle in the streets comes as a shock


General Comments

Egypt is awe-inspiring and the best and probably safest way to discover the country is an organised holiday with an operator such as Discover Egypt. But avoid June, July, August and September. It's dangerously hot. We went in late November on the Viking III and it was an ideal 85-90f.
