Salesman pitch!
General Comments
Weather seal salesman came around for quote: 2hrs of talking and he could have gone on for another 2 hrs!
8 windows = £11,750!!! With all the 'discounts', it got whittled down to £7500. We already had quotes from other local companies coming in at £4K.
He asked if we liked the price, so I told him I could get them for £4K. His face dropped and started looking at all aspects on how to knock the price down. He called his manager (which he said he had to).
I stated that I'm a chartered engineer and know how to spot quality hardware.
Once the salesman came off the phone, he said my boss said I've to ask a few more questions - I then told him to get out of my house as I felt it was getting pushy.
