General Comments

I have bought several items from my local H. Samuel, being the last one a watch that lost a stone a few days later. When I went there to replace it, the lady I spoke to said I couldn't prove I didn't, for instance, throw it into a wall, causing the situation. I didn't blame the whole store for the lack of politeness of their employee, thinking that in every tree there may be a rotten apple. Thus when I received their catalogue today, I decided to call to enquire about one of their products. As I didn't know the reference number (I was without my glasses), I described it thoroughly, knowing that the item was the only one with such features. I would understand if the employee I spoke to couldn't help, but I didn't understand her apparent rudeness towards me. She said 'we have tones of items like that in the store and I don't have the time to check what you are talking about'. I explained to her that I bought many of my christmas presents there and that they owed me, at least, some respect, as a paying customer, but she continued to seem quite unpolite. It's a shame, because they lost a loyal customer.
