Great web site for searching. Often use it to get a list of products I'm interested then buy elsewhere

Complete lack of customer service


General Comments

I used to buy from Dabs a lot and recommended it. However I have had several problems. Firstly when ordering I've received an email asking me to confirm my credit card details but by email. There's no way I'm going to put my details on an email. There was no option to do this securely on their site and the customer service is quite simply useless.

I've recently been looking at a camera (digital SLR) package and noticed that their description says the lens is 55-250, the one I want, but their specification below says 55-200. I emailed them to confirm which it is but the reply was a standard we don't answer technical questions. Oh well buy of these guys again and I suggest you don't. Pity cause it's a very well structured site.

    I experienced bad customer service when I wanted to return a faulty product!
    they wanted me to send it to the manufacturer
    according to trading standards the vendor [shop or seller] is responsible for warranty / guarantee, and they are on top of your statutory rights.
    hope some one from dabs reads this !!
