General Comments

A bit surprised to see so many negative reviews of the AA. I have been with them twenty three years, during which period, I have contacted them maybe a dozen times.
Apart from one occasion on a brutally cold morning where the world and his wife had probably broken down, they have arrived within the hour (usually much faster). The patrol staff are unfailingly polite, pleasant and professional and they have always been able to sort the problem and get me moving again.
On one occasion, a few years back, the patrolman drove me to a dealership about twenty miles away, negotiated with the garage service staff about the price of the part, took me back and fitted the thing.
I agree they can be a bit pricey but wherever you are, in whatever car, if you have a problem in my experience, they sort it and for that peace of mind, I recommend them.
