General Comments
We are a small car dealers and up until recently had been spending around £3000 per year with Autotrader for several years which used to result moderate results in sales. Earlier this year we found out without any prior notice whatsoever that they were putting their prices up substantially overnight, and our £3k annual cost was now going to be £4k instead. Just what you need as finances start to get tougher for everyone! I spoke to them to see if we could negotiate something at all and they were just not interested one little bit. We are no longer using Auto Trader and not missing it at all. The magazine contains a fraction of its former content, and the website seems to be going downhill fast as well. Try e-bay classified ads, local press etc. first as they are far far better value.
